CEMETERY INTERMENT ARRANGEMENTS FORM

Terms of Interment Scheduling

Submitting an interment request does not ensure that you will be scheduled for services.

Only licensed Funeral Homes are allowed to request interment services.

Burial requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

Interments are scheduled from 11am to 3:30pm Monday – Saturday. No Burials on Sundays.

Interments will not be scheduled on the following Holidays:

-New Year’s

-Thanksgiving and the Friday and Saturday after.

-Christmas Eve

-Christmas Day

Please note that if New Year’s Day, Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day fall on a Friday or Monday, the cemetery will be closed the Saturday of that same weekend.

If the requested interment time is already booked, the cemetery department will reach out to the Funeral Home to reschedule.

Interment requests will be refunded if proper proof of residency is not provided.

Accepted forms of proof of residency are:

A valid state-issued ID or Driver’s license
AND a valid voter’s registration card OR water bill

Interment requests will be refunded if the requesting Funeral Home has an outstanding balance.

It is the responsibility of the Funeral Home and the attending family to arrive on time at the cemetery. Failure to do so will result in a rescheduling of the interment.

The City of Dania Beach does not accept American Express as a form of payment.

INTERMENT REQUEST DISCLAIMER

The processing of the interment request by the City of Dania Beach will not relieve the requesting funeral home from the responsibility of submitting the proper documentation as well as submitting the correct fees accordingly. If incorrect documents are uploaded, or incorrect fees are selected, the interment will not be scheduled until the correct documents and payment are received. Interment requests must be made 48 hours in advance and are scheduled on a first come first served basis. If the requested date and time is already booked, the cemetery department will reach out to reschedule. The latest time an interment can be scheduled is 3pm. It is the responsibility of the funeral home and attending family to arrive to the cemetery on time. Failure to do so, will result in rescheduling of the interment service. Please note that interments can not be booked on holidays, or long weekends when the city is closed on a Friday or a Monday.
